Riders

A ride you can see coming

Most of what makes a ride stressful is not knowing — what it will cost, where the driver is, why the bill came to that. PikMeGo is built to answer those before you have to ask.

Booking

Say where you are and where you are going

Set the pickup from your current location, an address search or by dragging the pin to the exact spot. Save the places you go to often as home, work or anything else, and they are one tap away next time.

  • Pickup from your location, a search or a pin on the map
  • Saved places for the addresses you use constantly
  • Book now, or schedule a ride in advance with a reminder
  • A fare estimate on screen before you request anything

Vehicle choices

The right vehicle for the trip

A bike across town in traffic, an auto for a short hop, a cab when there are bags or a group. What appears depends on what is available in your city.

Cab

An air-conditioned car for up to four passengers and their bags.

Up to 4 riders

Auto

A three-wheeler for short city hops — quick through traffic, easy to park.

Up to 3 riders

Bike

A two-wheeler for a single rider. The fastest way across a congested stretch.

Up to 1 rider

Fares

Every line of the bill, named

You get an estimate before you book and an itemised breakdown after. If the final fare differs from the estimate, the breakdown is where you can see exactly which part moved and why.

Fares are calculated on our servers from the trip that actually took place, using the rules configured for your city, category and any zone involved. The app never decides a price, which is why an estimate and a receipt come from the same arithmetic.

What a fare is made of

  • Base fare for the trip
  • A charge for the distance covered
  • A charge for the time taken
  • Waiting time beyond the free minutes
  • Booking and platform fees
  • Night and airport charges, where they apply
  • A demand multiplier when demand is high — capped, and shown before you book
  • Any coupon you applied, deducted
  • Tax
  • Tolls and parking, passed through at cost

Amounts differ by city and vehicle category. The app shows the figures that apply to your ride — this page deliberately does not quote prices it cannot keep accurate.

During the ride

You are never guessing where the car is

While a driver is coming to you or you are in the vehicle, location updates are sent every few seconds rather than batched, so a car stopped at a light looks stopped rather than broken.

Live tracking

The vehicle on the map, moving as it moves.

Contact, privately

Call the driver through the app without exchanging numbers.

Share the trip

A live link anyone can open in a browser, which expires with the ride.

Start PIN

A four-digit code only you have, entered by the driver to begin.

After the ride

Paying, and everything that comes after

Pay how you want

Cash, UPI, card, net banking or your in-app wallet — whichever of these your city has enabled.

An itemised receipt

In your ride history straight away, and emailed to you if your account has an email address on it.

Rate the trip

Rate the driver and leave a comment. Drivers rate riders too, and our team reviews low ratings on both sides.

Your ride history

Every trip, with its route, its fare breakdown and its receipt, kept in the app.

Offers and referrals

Apply a coupon before you book and see the discount in the fare breakdown, not as a mystery adjustment.

Support that has the context

Raise a request against a specific ride and it arrives with the trip, the driver and the payment already attached.
